Are we too accustomed to Zombies ????
As a culture we have become passive over much of anything to do with Zombies. Matter of
fact it has now become as everyday as breathing. What once terrified people to even think of the undead walking the streets has become a muti billion dollar industry for Halloween and movies. Now lets say the real thing happens and some strange illness causes a zombie effect. You are shopping and walk to your car with bags of items you just purchased when one then two then several Zombies stand there staring at you. What would your reaction be? Below is a video of just such an event taking place in downtown NYC. What surprises me is the shallowness of most of the people. No one seems to actually think they are real short of a quick surprised look and maybe a slight scream but after that they go on their way. If the real thing happens we have become so passive by the media and the movie industry for some reason, like programmed to except them without fear. Will therefore become the victims of our own stupidity and conformity? |

The best analogy I have heard about the whole Zombie meme is the American consumerism. People do not take any amount of involvement in the things that matter, but if there is a sale on a bag of hammers somewhere the masses go Zombie for it.
Black Friday anyone? recent prank after the Miami face eating incident "Be patient. Think clearly. Be rational. Prepare accordingly."

Ok Cinbad I will go watch, thank you
BOSCO, yes it is sad that our culture has diluted itself to such a discredit to humanity and self worth. We are no longer the INTELLIGENT specie as far as I'm concerned but rather on the edge of a major downfall and somehow I think mankind deserves no better. Its a ME-MYSELF-I attitude that will end our ever so fast evolution and now its time to peak out and go back down. (Before anyone jumps me on this) This has nothing to do with religion or politics but simple human nature. . |

Those last guys were a-huntin' zombie! Wonder what they did to him when they caught him? Unless the make up was obvious from 21 feet away, I wouldn't suggest anyone try this experiment in Texas. Looootta concealed carry permits in Texas... lol WHEN INJUSTICE BECOMES LAW, RESISTANCE BECOMES DUTY |

These pranksters are lucky someone hasn't used deadly force on them, in light of the zombie-face-chewer and other incidents. And not just with firearms, but other tools and skills too. |

I always confirm intent before I resort to deadly force, so I guess I would pull my double bit ax out of my tool box and await their next move. I understand zombies are like snakes and don't like blades or lawnmowers.

RE: Are we too accustomed to Zombies ????
I have to agree it is becoming the norm and if a real epidemic actually happened like EBOLA we as a nation are
totally screwed. Many people don't realize that EBOLA has the same symtoms and people bleed from every orafice on the body. They become sick and dillusional, lose weight and simple become the living dead in a manner of speaking. The EBOLA epidemic is spreading yet no hotzones are in the media anymore like it once was. Years ago they bombed the villages that were infect and killed everyone, even thos that were not infected and all the medical personell there along with any local military. But today it is allowed to spread and who knows where it will show up next. Maybe its all part of the bigger picture for eradication who knows. But back to zombies. If I were you all I would seriously think twice then be near anyone that looks like that just as a training precaution for now. DON"T fall into the pattern of exceptence like most stupid people have been doing. Thats what the TPTB want. Relate to your kids this is not a joke and also avoid any and all connections, because sooner then later it will become VERY REAL. ACTUAL VICTIM WITH THE EBOLA VIRUS.................................. |
